This is a fan-made, non-commercial site. We collect the bare minimum to make things work and never sell anything to anyone. Here's exactly what we do.
The Pokédex Print Kit (pokeprintkit.com) is a personal project by Daan, an 11-year-old who likes Pokémon, and his dad. It is not affiliated with Nintendo, The Pokémon Company, or any commercial entity. For privacy questions, use our contact form.
Nothing tied to you personally. We use PostHog (an EU-hosted analytics tool) to count anonymous events like page views, quiz completions, and donation-button clicks. PostHog is configured in memory-only mode, which means no cookies and no data is stored on your device. Each page load is a fresh session as far as we're concerned. We can't tell that the person who took the quiz on Tuesday is the same person who came back on Friday — and we're fine with that.
Cloudflare, our hosting provider, may log standard server data (IP address, country, user agent) for security and abuse prevention. This is independent of our analytics and is governed by Cloudflare's own privacy policy.
If you opt in to receive the HD version of your quiz result, we store:
We do not store your IP address, browser, or any other identifier.
Both forms go through Formspree, a third-party service. They receive your name (optional), email, and the contents of your message, and forward it to us. See Formspree's privacy policy for what they store on their side. We use the email only to reply to you about your request or inquiry.
Your email exists in our database for one reason: to send you occasional updates when new printable sets ship, and (if you signed up via the quiz) to send you the HD version of your result.
We do not:
We use a small number of third-party services to operate. Each is named here so you can verify their own policies if you want.
Email subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. When you unsubscribe, your row stays in our database flagged as inactive (so we don't accidentally re-add you). If you want your data fully deleted, click "Delete my data entirely" on the unsubscribe confirmation page, or send us a request via the contact form. We will delete it within 30 days.
Anonymous analytics events have no expiry tied to you because there's no identifier connecting them to you in the first place.
If you live in the EU, the UK, California, or anywhere else with a meaningful privacy law, you have rights over your data: to see what we have, to correct it, to delete it, and to take a copy of it.
Because we hold essentially nothing about you except possibly your email, exercising any of these rights is straightforward:
You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority if you think we're doing something wrong.
This site is built by a child and is fine for children. We do not knowingly collect email addresses from anyone under 13 (or 16 in some EU countries). If you're a parent and discover your child has subscribed, use the contact form and we'll delete the record.
We don't use any. The analytics tool we use is configured in memory-only mode specifically so that no cookies and no local storage are written to your device. Some third-party services we link to (Ko-fi, PayPal) may set their own cookies if you visit their sites — that's between you and them.
If we change anything material — like adding a new third-party service or changing how data is used — we'll update the date at the top and, for active subscribers, mention it in the next mailing.
The short version: we collect your email only if you ask us to. We don't track you with cookies. We don't sell anything. You can leave with one click. Questions: use our contact form.
